Live Wedding Painting at Nashville’s Riverwood Mansion
Before The Wedding
Bailey & I had a design consultation a month prior to her wedding day. She told me all about what made her and Kiefer fall in love with their venue, Riverwood Mansion and why they decided to get married there. We also discussed the color pallet for her wedding day and her home interior design style. All of these elements are things I will tie into a wedding painting.
Off to the Ceremony…
Ceremony
While the couple married under the beautiful fall foliage in the gardens of the mansion, I prepared my easel and paints. I walked around the grounds, capturing a few shots of the mansion against the backdrop of the vibrant, changing leaves.
Cocktail Hour
Painting and mingling with guests with a cocktail in hand… say less! Getting started with the live wedding painting is such a joy! I use a series of photos and moments from the day to create the painting. As I paint, guests love to watch as I build a vivid scene before their eyes, as if the day's beauty is captured on canvas live in front of them. It’s such a treat!
Reception
Dinner, speeches, dancing and my favorite part… the live wedding painting’s grand reveal! Over 3-4 hours, as the events of the wedding reception play out, I am putting the finishing touches on the piece and preparing for our grand reveal.
Live Painting Grand Reveal
The live painting’s grand reveal is such an enchanting moment where the couple sees the live wedding painting for the first time. I think it evokes such a unique emotion and the sweetest reactions because such precious moments from the day are captured into a single piece of artwork.
A big thank you to Eden Ingle Photography for taking such beautiful photographs of me while painting and for capturing the reactions from this sweet couple of the reveal. Eden truly captured the magic of live wedding painting and having these photos to share is such a gift. Thank you, Eden!
