Surprising Jeremy and Jessica at their charming lakeside ceremony with a live wedding painting was definitely a highlight of my summer! They married in Jessica’s backyard under a huge tree surrounded by the sweetest friends and family. The live painting was a surprise gift from their planner, a close friend of Jessica’s. So happy to have been a part of creating a custom gift for this sweet couple! They were just delightful.

I started this painting with a bright pink layer in order to bring extra warmth into this summer painting. I think it helps give it a fun Lily Pulitzer feel, too, perfect for this whimsical waterfront event!

I began painting during the ceremony and painted throughout the reception so that the guests could observe. It’s always so fun to get to chat and answer questions for guests while I’m creating! We decided on capturing J + J’s first kiss as husband and wife, so I snapped a quick photo of the moment to paint from. They are absolutely picture perfect!

I fell in love with all the blue and white details included in this simple and elegant backyard wedding on the water. It was simply divine to be a part of!

J + J loved their painting so much. Their looks of awe bring me so much joy! The moment is reveal is my absolute favorite part of the night. It’s my why behind what I do!

It was so much fun to be a part of this charming event on the lake! I know that Jessica and Jeremy will choose a home for their mini heirloom painting on a bookshelf or gallery wall to cherish for years to come. So happy to be a part of that!
