Getting to surprise Alexa & Nick with a live wedding painting experience was truly a gift!
“Lauren was amazing. I wanted to surprise my son and his bride with a live painter for their reception. I contacted Lauren and I knew this was exactly what I was looking for.”
The parents of the groom reached out to me just a few weeks before the wedding in search of the perfect gift for their son and soon to be daughter in law. After seeing one of my videos on Instagram, his mom knew that a live painting was truly one of a kind.
Velour Premier Events’ team helped me orchestrate the perfect reveal. I’m forever grateful for their attention to detail to help pull off such a special surprise. While the Alexa and Nick were getting married, I snuck in the side door and set up my easel and paints in the reception space.
When A+N walked in to the reception space to give it a first look, I was there with Nick’s parents ready to reveal the amazing gift of live wedding painting! A+N were completely surprised and incredibly excited. The emotion on Alexa’s face says it all.

As soon as the guests started filing into the reception space, I started sketching the layout and laying down the first layers of paint. I love to give guests the full experience of witnessing the blank canvas to finished painting by the end of the night. They are simply amazed! I’m delighted to chat with guests and answer questions about the painting throughout the night. The process is a true joy to share!
We captured A+N’s first dance in the painting. It was all parts stunning and sweet wrapped up in one.
All the little details are featured in the painting too! From the stunning orchid centerpieces, the greenery and wedding sign behind them, the orchid in Alexa’s hair, to the baby’s breath on the tables, the painting will always remind them of this blissful day.

After the wedding, my paintings come back to my studio for finishing touches and a coat of sealant to protect the painting. Custom framing services in my signature gold frame were also added during this stage. What an absolutely stunning new addition to the newlywed’s home and the perfect gift from the parent’s of the groom!
