Though based in Nashville, this painter is happy to travel to those hosting momentous occasions elsewhere. Lauren has been passionate about painting since she was a little girl. As a self-described social butterfly, this creative delights in meeting new people through her job. I created Lauren OBrien Art & Design as a creative outlet after starting my teaching career in special education. I simply wanted a way to relieve stress and relate to all the music creatives in our life, but it quickly became so much more. I fell in love with getting to know my clients, their stories, the opportunity to paint their unique memories and getting to portraying their love through artful expression. Since I was little I’ve always admired my mom’s artistic talent and passion for creating. Because of this I’d always dreamt of becoming an artist when I grew up and have always thought of those who followed their passions to be exceptionally inspiring. There are many weekly “pinch me” moments that have come along with this sweet little dream of mine coming to life, especially now that it’s my full time job. It’s surreal and I love it!
